fuel< that car uses doesn’t matter – let’s not forget AUDI R8 V12 TDI – and all the racing cars with diesel engines… but, honestly – i can’t consider GTD a hot hatch – when GTI is only 600 more expensive and GTD only has 170PS – it’s pretty well – but not impressive in any way

GTD is not too shabby. almost 54mpg puts it neatly on the PRIUS’ toes. with a more sporting tune as well. But yeah for the same money you can get an AUDI…

That Diesel Golf’s torque band is quite high, my Fabia VRS is best from 1900 to about 2800rpm
