When did streaming video fist hit the internet. I believe it has something to do with porn? Please help i need to know it. I need to know where streaming video originated on the internet by this friday or i owe my whole class lunch…and i dont have that kind of money so please help.

I would probably put it heavily down to how people in the later years want things fast and are not willing to wait. You should look perhaps about small videos that began to surface and sites such as youtube – people obviously took to being able to watch videos like this and it took off.

Looks like you owe your whole class lunch. Streaming media for computers has been toyed with in and out of the labs with mixed success since 1980. This means that before the internet went public some sort of live broadcasting was going on.
