How to streaming video more faster?

I use broadband, and it’s limited usage download is just 1gbs, but is there any other ways to make faster video streaming?(Youtube, Vimeo etc)

1GB usage is not speed its how much you can actually download (quantity) before you get charged more.

Your internet connection rarely exceeds 8Mb/s and can be as slow as to be only 5kbps.

Internet speed is mainly determined by what you are doing on the internet (multiple tabs slows it down, so does torrenting). Another reason for slow connection is bad wireless or being geographically located too far from the phone exchange.

Theres not much you can do except to try closing all other programs that use the internet, check with your ISP for your actual speed and test it against results from http://www.speedtest.net . Your next bet is to ask your phone company or ISP provider is if there are any problems on their end.

Of course you could simply provide the user front-end with connection information from your web site so the connection is done directly between them.

This will take very little bandwidth but is less secure for the users.

Is there any software that can record streaming video so i cant edit it eith editing software (avid, final cut, ect.) and make you tube videos with music and stuff. I wanna be a movie editor so I wanna practice now.

Online video streaming is unbearably slow, is there anyway i can make it faster?

When every i watch any type of video streaming on my computer, (youtube, netflix, hulu, ext.) it takes forever to buffer, then still has many errors during viewing. It has just started happening the last week or so. I was wondering if there is anything i could do to speed it up. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
Also, i’m using Google Chrome, if that makes a difference.

Better internet, more Ram and use reginout to fix this.

How do you fix choppy streaming video on windows 7?

I am clueless how to fix this streaming video. It is also affecting video playback when I try to edit video in Adobe Premiere CS4. The only advice I see online is dated a few years back and doesn’t apply to Windows 7.

I have this same problem. I just gave up on using Adobe Premiere. The only way i got it to work was by reducing the programs video quality. And that was just stupid.

What sort of video streaming would a school of around 400 people need for assembly?

Preferably we would get all 8 year levels into a classroom each with a smartboard and a computer and also internet access. We need some sort of video streaming software to film from one source where the assembly would be taking place. As the school expands as we are a growing school we would need to stream the video to more than 8 places. We need software which would be fast and not lag and also have good audio quality.

If anyone has any idea what kind of programs could meet these needs could they please post them here,

Windows expression encoder is a simple system that I have used before. I would would work with my IT people for the IP address setup and the AV department to work out the video ingest setup. The video can be live ingested into the computer via Fire Wire/ 1394 or USB 2.0. There are several easy click and do buttons to select the quality of stream. You can also secure the stream form out side sources. The lag time is about 45 seconds. And all it takes is a computer with Window Media Player to be able to watch the video. You should be able to stream to 10 different locations without a problem.

I would test the system to fine tune the settings. I am also assuming that you have a LAN system in your school.

I used to watch lots of tv series at a website I think they call it Video streaming? Just the typican tv series like smallville, gossip girl and etc..Is this dangerous? Can My pc get a virus from video streaming? A friend of mine said its better to download than to stream videos because in streaming the virus can directly go into your system..Is she right?

It depends on the website. If its the official site (4od, bbc iplayer etc.) then its fine. Any ilegal websites can get you suspended from your broadband provider.

I have a website hosted by godaddy.com but unless I buy the big dedicated server hosting plans, I can do live video streaming.

I have a camera setup at my church and I want to stream our services LIVE. With godaddy I cant unless I purchase a dedicated server hosting plan which start at like $60/month. Is there anything cheaper out there? Thanks!
