When every i watch any type of video streaming on my computer, (youtube, netflix, hulu, ext.) it takes forever to buffer, then still has many errors during viewing. It has just started happening the last week or so. I was wondering if there is anything i could do to speed it up. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. 
Also, i’m using Google Chrome, if that makes a difference.
Better internet, more Ram and use reginout to fix this.

I am clueless how to fix this streaming video. It is also affecting video playback when I try to edit video in Adobe Premiere CS4. The only advice I see online is dated a few years back and doesn’t apply to Windows 7.
I have this same problem. I just gave up on using Adobe Premiere. The only way i got it to work was by reducing the programs video quality. And that was just stupid.
Preferably we would get all 8 year levels into a classroom each with a smartboard and a computer and also internet access. We need some sort of video streaming software to film from one source where the assembly would be taking place. As the school expands as we are a growing school we would need to stream the video to more than 8 places. We need software which would be fast and not lag and also have good audio quality.
If anyone has any idea what kind of programs could meet these needs could they please post them here,

Windows expression encoder is a simple system that I have used before. I would would work with my IT people for the IP address setup and the AV department to work out the video ingest setup. The video can be live ingested into the computer via Fire Wire/ 1394 or USB 2.0. There are several easy click and do buttons to select the quality of stream. You can also secure the stream form out side sources. The lag time is about 45 seconds. And all it takes is a computer with Window Media Player to be able to watch the video. You should be able to stream to 10 different locations without a problem.
I would test the system to fine tune the settings. I am also assuming that you have a LAN system in your school.

I used to watch lots of tv series at a website I think they call it Video streaming? Just the typican tv series like smallville, gossip girl and etc..Is this dangerous? Can My pc get a virus from video streaming? A friend of mine said its better to download than to stream videos because in streaming the virus can directly go into your system..Is she right?
It depends on the website. If its the official site (4od, bbc iplayer etc.) then its fine. Any ilegal websites can get you suspended from your broadband provider.
I have a website hosted by godaddy.com but unless I buy the big dedicated server hosting plans, I can do live video streaming.
I have a camera setup at my church and I want to stream our services LIVE. With godaddy I cant unless I purchase a dedicated server hosting plan which start at like $60/month. Is there anything cheaper out there? Thanks!

I stream all my movies stored on my computer to my PS3 so I can watch them on my big tv. All of my video files are .AVI to my knowledge. Certain .AVI’s wont work but others will. Also one video that I watched worked perfectly a month ago but I just tried it again today and it didn’t work. It said it was an unrecognized format. What is the deal?

I recently got a Xfx Nvidia 9500gt 1b. I mean it looks a little better but some videos on full screen are like pixelated. How can I increase my video streaming, like make it clearer?
