Hey I have these videos on my computer from my camera and there in mp4 format and I want to use them in windows movie maker but they only take mvi format videos. How do I convert them, or what free program can i use to do so?

I recommend Aneesoft Video Converter Pro.

◆Convert video for most portable devices: iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Mobile Phone and more.
◆Edit video, trim, crop, merge, add watermark and apply special effects.

I’m Using KMP(KM Player) as Video Player on my PC. When I try to play ASF format Video it can’t. Please tell me how can I enable KM Player to play ASF format Video.

You cant "enable" it. KMPlayer either supports asf or it doesn’t. You might have to either try vlc or a codec pack.

Other videos I have previously downloaded were in the MP4 video format and synced fine, but this video is not syncing.

Hi, friend, as I know, mp4 is a media container which can be encoded with many different codecs, so iPod touch just supports some special mp4 videos, not all. the best video format for iPod touch is the 640×480 mp4(avc/h.264 video codec, aac audio codec) videos, so you need to use a right software to convert your downloaded mp4 videos to the right iPod touch mp4 videos, I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert the downloaded mp4 videos to the right iPod touch mp4 videos, etc. Then you can transfer the converted mp4 videos to itunes, and sync to iPod touch. Yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter. Hope it can help you.

I just recently did a video project and have it from my teacher in DVD format. (video_ts and audio_ts folders). How can I best rip the data and upload it to youtube? I was thinking .mpeg or .avi format, if possible.

Aiseesoft DVD Ripper, one of the Best DVD Ripper software, that could easily rip DVD to MP4, H.264, AVI, MP3, WMV, WMA, FLV, MKV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, 3GP, 3GPP, VOB, DivX, Mov, RM, RMVB, M4A, AAC, WAV, etc. with super fast DVD ripping speed and excellent image and sound quality.

This is my first time. I am using moviemakers. My video format is quicktime which my friends say it is not a video format to use for youtube.

I am using XILSOFT video converter to cover any video format to 3gp format to see it in my cell phone. But it has a problem.Everytime either the video is slower or faster than the audio.I tried but failed to set them equal by changing bit rate. Can I have some suggestion about how to do this?Is there any free software compatible to it?

Many software have this problem, esp. the freeware.
I used Pavtube Video Converter which before has the same problem as you mentioned, but upgraded version is good. No out of sync at all.
You may google or yahoo search for it.

When i convert a video into a format that will work with windows movie maker, there are these center words that pop up on the screen and stay there.

to be frank, you just try a free video converter, it is water mark or ads,,,,,,,,i just use a one, no any problem ,but you need to pay for it,,,,,cheap, $35, you can consider about it, it can help you convert and import any video to any multimedia, of course, you can free trial first,,,,,,good luck!

if the center words belongs to the movie, the quality of your converter may have problem, and may you need to adjust subtitles,,,,,,,,it also can help you……………

I am currently doing an ICT project involving open source software. I want to insert videos into my presentation, but not sure what video format to use because it needs to be one that either everyone can see, or a format which can be viewed in free software (so do not have to pay for it, can just download software)
Any recommendations?

.avi is a video format that all pc can access
