i forgot i capture most of the videos in quick time format, and im making a little video of our vacation using window movie maker. Does anybody know how can i convert my videos in to format that i could use for windows movie maker?

I have already setup a web page, it is hosted and running. I’ve got an mp3 file linked on that page, however, when anybody clicks the link it plays but doesn’t allow the user to continue viewing the page.
If I want to get the audio to play on a 2nd page, or pop-up page, what should I do?
I was thinking I would need to host a new domain? Then put the mp3 file on that 2nd domain?
Is this correct?
ALSO – If I set up a 2nd domain and put the mp3 file on it, how do I make it so that the viewer clicks the link on Page #1, but it pops up on Page # 2?

No, you definitely don’t need a new domain. If you want something to pop-up in a new window, then add the "target=" clause to your anchor tag. That is, let’s say your link looks like this:
<a href="jones.mp3">My MP3 file</a>
Add this:
target="_blank"
So that it looks like this:
<a href="jones.mp3" target="_blank">My MP3 file</a>
and your link will open up in a new window.

OK. I know it’s bad to do it, but I get some slow spots at work and kill time with streaming video. I work for a large corporation that has it’s own servers. When I watch streaming video on sites like Youtube or Hulu, is there any way that they can tell and track it back to my computer? I want to make sure I’m not risking my ass.
It depends on the policies of the company you work with. Some companies monitor their employees browsing but some don’t. If they allow you to do that then there’s no problem, but they can monitor you easily if they want to.

ur question is wrong……one cannot change a video format into audio format.u want to separate the audio track .
simple way is to use vcd cutter to separate the audio

My hdmi cable transmits sound and video from my laptop to my tv but it doen’t transmit sound from web players like mega video or sites that play tellevision program replays like cwtv. How can i fix this?

Ok, so here’s the deal. I have a reasonably good computer, as I only bought it about 2 months back. It’s seriously quick when im using applications and the internet, it’s just when I come to watch videos on youtube or BBC Iplayer the streaming speeds slow to a crawl.
Are there any accelerators out there that actually work or anything I could do to make it faster that does not mean I have to download the video?

Im afraid it sounds like your bandwidth limit with your ISP (Internet Service Provider). What id do to test this is check your bandwidth speed with the following website below:

and see whether your getting up to or close to the speed your paying for (Id Recommend 3mb p/s for iplayer at a minimum). If not then id definitely consider in checking your pc for apps running in the background etc. Im on fibre and bbc iplayer runs perfect all the time 
Accelerators that apparently boost your internet speeds are pointless. The speed your getting is the maximum speed you can have.
You could also check one thing which is if your using a "Torent" program for downloading music etc… even when your are not using these programs the torrent program is still leeching your bandwidth of you so other people can download what you have on your machine. Make sure its closed down
