Look no further than the ASUS EEEPC. It’s small, sleek and almost a full laptop capable of running Windows Xp. Though it is not technically a handheld, you should definitely take a look at it.
Else, look out for the various blackberry devices.
HI All
I have been using a lot of the streaming video websites recently and there are a few clips i would like to download to my hard drive. Does anyone know of a software programme that could help me do this?
Many Thanks

I don’t know, but you read my question without the main detail….so if you want to read it again.

I’m trying to decide on new internet service. The most bandwidth-heavy activity I do is watch streaming video shows off of TV network websites. What is the minimum speed I need?
To decide, we need to compare the internet service to the bitrate you’ll be streaming at.
Say the video is streamed at 256kbps (kilobits per second) which is pretty bog-standard.
This equates to roughly 32 kilobytes per second.
This is (in theory) about 1/4 of your 1 Mbps internet connection.
Medium quality videos will be streamed at 512kbps which will roughly require 1/2 the resources of your internet connection.
So yes in theory, 1Mb will suffice.
However, during peak times you may not get the full speed your line can offer you.
If you can afford it, it wouldn’t hurt to get a 2Mb connection. Here in the UK, 8Mb is the standard service on offer (yet ISPs rarely actually give you that speed – it’s more like 3 or 4Mb!)
Hope this answers your question!
After I record a video with the PS eye what format is the video in?
I think it might be MP4 or something, anyway I know that you could put it directly onto your PSP or Ipod or computer, I am sure that it is not a specific file to the PS3 because I can play it on my computer
Hope This Helps
I made a video with my Kodak camera that I want to email to some friends.
